I wouldn't be too sure about Stanford and USC.
Stanford's original OOC games this year would have been W&M (9/5), @Notre Dame (10/10) and BYU (11/28). A 10th conference game would most likely replace the W&M type games (aka "money game"). Stanford can still use the other slot for either, a neutral site game, home-home series, or a "money game."
USC's original OOC games this year would have been Alabama (9/5 at Jerry's World), New Mexico (9/12), and Notre Dame (11/28). Like Stanford, a 10th conference game would most likely replace the New Mexico type games since it isn't a home-home series. Like Stanford, USC could still use the other slot for either a neutral site game, home-home series, or a "money game."
Remember FCS schools and G5 schools may still need to play "money games" regardless of the number of conference games they play in a season. So Stanford and USC can always find someone willing to agree to a home game for the seasons they are scheduled to play @Notre Dame.
